Photo Day #28

#28. "Money"

I kept a few Euros from my Italy trip in 2008, and I keep it so that I can make sure I get back to Europe! There are SO many places all over the world that I want to travel, but I would still LOVE to go back to Italy!

(old Italy posts here, here and here. These were quick emails home, made into blog posts so I pretty much sound like a jet-lagged valley girl with grammar and run-on sentence issues.  Just FYI.)

#26. "Night"

'Nother boring picture. Sunday night watching TV, with just my cozy, poorly "strung" rope lights a'blazin.

(Oh, and see my lovely newly hung curtains?! My mom and I "installed" them, drill and all, like pros last week. Thanks Mom!)

#25. "Green"

I spent a good part of my day at the Mesa Temple, and it was a GORGEOUS day today!  Over 80 degrees out, and the flowers at the temple smelled amazing.

This kind of green is a rare site to see in Arizona.  Grass is a commodity here, so it was almost weird to see so much of it in one place!

I am grateful for green grass, temples and beautiful sunny days!

What's there to say about a bathroom cabinet?

#23. "Shoes"

Newest addition to my closet!  And they're comfortable, which is monumental, considering I am a size 11 shoe, and usually have to settle for a 10.  Size 11 just doesn't exist in most places.  At most stores, when I ask for an 11 in a certain shoe, without fail they look at me like I just asked them if they could kiss it and turn it into a handsome prince.  That actually might be more likely than finding an 11 back there.

Photo Day #22

#22. "Where you work"

Obviously not my own pics, but pics from the School's website. (forgot to take a pic!)
This is the campus I work at in Coolidge.  It's about a 45 min commute on a little highway from Gilbert to Coolidge.  The building with the clock tower is where my office is, but I travel about 3-4 days a week to different sites.
(There are 10 campuses and centers, from 15 mins away, to 2 hours away. I put A LOT of miles on my car. booo.)
Its in the middle of nowhere folks. But I am grateful for the job, and grateful it brought me to Arizona!
My heart may always be in California,
but the longer I live here the more I think my roots will be here!
